Fundraising for Short Term Missions

Over 2 million individuals will go on a short term mission trip in 2012. Many of those who go will simply be able to write the check for the trip, but others will be a part of individual and organized fundraising events to shore up the money to serve.

Since 1975 I have been raising my personal support. Here at Mission Discovery each staff member is asked to raise a portion of the funds needed to supply their annual salary.

A one-week mission trip in June or July really starts weeks, even months before you arrive on the filed. Every Mission Discovery trip leader is encouraged to attend a webinar or weekend event we call Pre-Field Orientation (PFO). When that training is complete the team leader has tools to prepare the team for the best possible international mission trip!

This year's event will take place at Hermitage Golf Course with over 60 players "golfing like they are on a mission"....and they really are! Kenya Mission Trip Update
