Kevin Ward, director of Teen Challenge Swaziland, purchased the town and has a grand vision: To renovate as many homes as necessary to house 2,000 children orphaned by the AIDS pandemic of Swaziland, teach AIDS awareness, and have a self-sustaining community through the start-up of various cottage industry initiatives.

Conditions are so bad that most families in this area are too poor to send their children to school or afford meals on a regular basis.
