Tecate, Mexico Mission Trip

The town of is nestled between towering boulders and miles of scrub brush. This mountainous setting is home to many needy families, but it is often overlooked for help because of its size and location. Thousands come to Tecate with the hope of finding more opportunities in the US or near the border. Hardworking people find jobs in the tourist or manufacturing sectors, but even then the average salary ranges from only $4-$5 a day, causing many diligent workers to live in abject poverty.

Mission Discovery short term mission teams, partnered with the people of Tecate and local church congregations, will provide help to these families through construction of homes and evangelism through Children's Bible School.

The trip includes a day off of shopping and swimming.
