Today a group of 20 made their was from Las Vegas, Nevada to give their Spring Break to the service of the needy here in Guatemala.
This week the team will be working at the Jeremiah Project, an after school tutoring program for children here who just need a little extra help with school work. The ministry is one of two locations the team will serve this week in Antigua. Not only will they be involved in physical work on the ministry center but twice daily they will lead a Children’s Bible School.
This team is well prepared for the trip ahead with dramas, music and activities for kids. Each afternoon the team will move across town to Karios School where the team will paint murals and lead games and music for children.
It’s the first of 3 weeks of Spring Break Mission Discovery mission trips here in Guatemala.
