In response to overwhelming medical needs, Mission Discovery mobilizes medical teams of physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, therapists, dentists, and medical technicians to operate clinics in the earthquake resettlement community of Onaville and other affected sections of Port-au-Prince. In addition to trained professionals, non-medical volunteers are needed to support the caregivers, interact with patients and pray with those seeking spiritual comfort. Serve as God’s hands and feet to make a tangible difference in the lives of the poor.
Over the years we have seen a dramatic change in the health of the community of Onaville through our medical clinics and Mission Discovery’s clean water initiative. Be a part of this exciting medical ministry!
Daily Work Assignments:
- Your team will be involved in daily medical clinics Monday through Thursday.
- Sunday you’ll attend a church service in Onaville
- Door to door visits in the community are also a possibility

MISSION TRIP COSTS AND FAQ
Our medical mission trips to Port au Prince, Haiti are best suited for College, Adult, and Family volunteers. You do not need to be a medical professional to join.
- The trip cost includes: trip deposit, food, lodging, ground transportation, construction supplies, emergency medical insurance, a t-shirt and a devotional.
- What is not included: flight, any spending money you may need and $25 for a background check.

No. We break the trip cost into three payments. Here is what a typical payment schedule looks like.
- $100 per volunteer deposit is due 30 days after you register.
- Half of the remaining balance will be due 90 days prior to the trip start date.
- The remaining balance will be due 45 days prior to the trip start date.
