God is great and glorious!  He is above all things and is to be worshiped.  Dr. John Piper declares, “Missions is not the ultimate goal of the church.  Worship is.  Missions exists because worship doesn’t.  Worship is ultimate, not missions, because God is ultimate, not man.  When this age is over, and the countless millions of the redeemed fall on their faces before the throne of God, missions will be no more.  It is a temporary necessity.  But worships abides forever.  Worship, therefore, is the fuel and goal in missions.  It’s the goal of missions because in missions we simply aim to bring the nations into the white-hot enjoyment of God’s glory.”  It is not easy to think about God’s greatness and glory.  He is infinite and we are finite.  Like a coke bottle can only hold a few drops of the vast ocean, we can only understand a few “drops” of God’s greatness.  We learn to appreciate and understand the Father as he reveals himself in the Bible and His creation.  Through faith in Jesus Christ and by the guidance of the Holy Spirit we begin to understand how awesome God is – and worship Him.
