Read Luke 11:1-13

Let’s face it, quiet time really means “Me Time”. It is time that’s just for God and you. That’s it, just the two of you! What better way to start the day…focusing on how you can have a better day, by recognizing first things first! In the book of Luke, chapter 11, Jesus has an opportunity to teach his disciples about prayer. Imagine Jesus’ excitement when the disciples asked him how to pray! Just as Jesus showed the disciples of the bible, you too can be one of His “students.” Jesus shows us a key element of discipleship and just how vital time with the Father is.

Action step – Get alone just as Jesus did. Read Luke chapter 11:1-13. Then simply have a conversation with the Father. What are you looking for today? What would you like God to teach you today? Is there someone you need to forgive today? Do you need to ask for someone’s forgiveness today? Is there a temptation today that you need help with? Jesus shows us to put the Father first, then give our concerns over to Him. Have you set things in order for a great day?
